Vacation Bible School

Crocodile Dock Vacation Bible School
Day 4 - Thursday, July 23

This is Blossom and we learned from her that God Gives Us Life!

Singing and Worship begin the evening...

Snack time...

The children listen intently at the Dockside Drive In

Mr. Craig is a good story-teller

Craft time with Mrs. Sandy & Marissa & helpers

Danny, as 'Moses' teaches tonight about the death of Jesus

Each child is given the opportunity to put his or her name on the cross ...

...and this is symbolic of Jesus dying for us

Whether you've written your name there or not,
He died for you

The Tomb that could not hold Him

The evening ends with Kevin teaching about the cross of Christ

Volunteers take turns covering the cross ...

The earth shook and darkness covered it when Jesus
died for our sins over 2,000 years ago,
as the darkness of this cross shows us

"But God demonstrates His own love toward us,
in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us".
Romans 5:8

Slowly the cross is uncovered ...

For those who place their faith in Christ and His finished
work on the cross, we've been set free!
Fear Not!
