We were blessed and honored to have Rev. Paul Edwards with us again this year. His sermon on Sunday, Sept. 21 was "Comfort for God's People" with the context of his message coming from the book of Isaiah, chapter 40.

In his sermon, Rev. Edwards stressed the fact that difficulty is part and parcel of the Christian life, and that regardless of what we may be struggling with, there is comfort to be found in God's Word. He stated also that this comfort is only for God's people.

"I belong to God and He is my God" is a message of comfort. "I have a people and I am their God" are words for us to cling to.
