VBS Report....
Using Group Publishing's "Crocodile Dock" theme, our Vacation Bible School was considered a big success by many. To God be the glory for the vision to do this and for providing both the staff and materials needed to do it well!

We are grateful that God allowed us to serve about fifty children, presenting truths from God's Word in a fun and positive way. Let us pray that the Lord will enable us to continue to minister to these children in our neighborhood and exand that ministry to even more children.

As a wrap-up last Sunday, we had the VBS Finale which included a well-attended picnic that was enjoyed by parents and children alike. A big Thank You! to Everett & Jacque Sollars who once again did a great job of organizing the picnic. They wish to say THANK YOU! to everyone who contributed to the success of the picnic and the day's activities.

Thank you also to everyone who signed up to pray for children
in Kids for the Lord.
Your child's photo card will be given to you next Sunday, August 9

Thoughts to Ponder....
Use your God-given freedom to serve one another and avoid bitter strife
Galatians 5:13-15 "You, my brothers, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the sinful nature; rather, serve one another in love. The entire law is summed up in a single command: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' If you keep on biting and devouring one another, watch out or you will be destroyed by each other."
