Ministry Outreach - NU2U Resale

Have you thought about being a volunteer?

Joel Ashby and Gayle, one of the staffers at NU2U.
Joel was able to volunteer at NU2U on Novenber 9,
because the company he works for offers a day's pay when you
volunteer at a local charity. He choose NU2U!

This picture is of the outside of NU2U Resale. It's located in Redford, MI.
We have taken donations from Grace Bible Church to this faciltiy.

The proceeds from the sales at NU2U go to help pay for students' tuition and the
school they operate in Detroit, Westside Christian Academy.
This was a dream come true for Daryl Ounanian and the staff at Westside.
And we're grateful to help in any way we can!

Anderson High School Cook-Out, 2010

Anderson High School Cook-Out, May 20, 2010

Many, many thanks to all who volunteered ... to those who donated food and/or money ... to the Sollars brothers for once again providing hot dogs & hamburgers ... to Joel Ashby for taking these pictures ... and especially to our Lord for allowing the sun to shine on this day of outreach. May what was done and said be remembered by those who came from Anderson High School and may the Lord give fruit for the seed that was sown.

Jun 15, 2009

On Saturday, June 27 from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. we'll once again be using the Downriver Cruise as an outreach opportunity.

As these photos from last year show, we meet in front of the Downriver Christian Library,
3755 Fort St., at the corner of Highland, in Lincoln Park.

We'll again pass out cold bottles of water and gospel tracts as we watch many of Detroit's cars as they drive down Fort Street. If you would like to participate, here's two ways to do it:
#1. Come join us at the Library! It's always a day of fun, fellowship and relaxation
(Bring your camera, you'll see lots of cars)
#2. Donate water. This year we're giving out the 8oz bottles. We ask that you leave them in the foyer of the church near the front door.

Please notify Pastor Bill or Joel Ashby if you'll be joining us and be sure to mark
Saturday, June 27 on your calendar
